Software Engineer - Full-stack
San Francisco, CA, Full Time

Description:

This person will lead the deployment Serotiny’s digital infrastructure, developing custom systems, interfaces, and other tools to provide biologists insight into their own data.

The infrastructure is part of a design/build/test loop that couples a finely tuned software architecture with wet-lab mammalian synthetic biology. Serotiny is looking for our first full-stack engineer who is excited to design novel software for synthetic biology.

Role:

  • Collaborate with biologists to design and deploy a custom software, interfaces & tools for biological design
  • Invent, integrate and ensure accessibility of novel software services used by our biologists
  • We currently work in Go and Ember

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years professional industry experience
  • Experience with REST APIs & javascript frameworks
  • Experience shipping a digital product
  • Flexibility and desire to work at the early stages of a startup
